- Statement on USITC Investigation into Economic...
In July 2022, RILA filed a prehearing statement on the U.S. International Trade Commission's (USITC) investigation into the economic impact of the Section 232 and Section 301 tariffs on U.S. industries that was requested by the House and Senate Committees on Appropriations. In the comments, RILA emphasizes that the Section 301 tariffs on Chinese imports have caused disproportionate economic harm to American businesses, consumers, and workers – and consequently, the U.S. economy.
