Gibson brings nearly two decades of media experience, most recently as the Senior Washington Editor at NBC News. Over the course of her time as a reporter, she covered the White House, Congress, presidential campaigns, and state governments, chronicling some of the most pressing policy issues including taxes and trade.
“With her deep understanding of Washington and relationships across the media industry, RILA is excited to have Ginger join the team to help deliver the message about how retailers are delivering value for families and working to invest in their employees and communities,” said Jason Brewer, Senior Executive Vice President, Communications and Marketing.
Gibson will serve as the primary point of contact for media on trade policy and other public policy priorities impacting the retail sector.
“I am excited to join the RILA team at this critical time for retailers,” Gibson said. “I am eager to connect with journalists across Washington and the nation to highlight the contributions retailers are making to the American economy and the critical role they play every day meeting the needs of American families.”
