Coordinator, Communications

Malcolm Cutlar, Communications Coordinator, works to support the RILA team by helping to develop context for external use, producing the daily newsletter, as well as managing various special projects regarding communications platforms and social media feeds.

Prior to RILA, Cutlar studied Communications and Marketing at Old Dominion University where he honed specific skills such as retail marketing, interpersonal communications, and persuasion.

After earning his bachelor’s degree, Cutlar interned with the Sustainable Scoop organization where he anchored in promotional videos with persuasive messages and assisted in producing promotional events. He then worked with The Community Enrichment Project; a non-profit organization aimed to influence adolescence of less fortune communities to make a difference through filmmaking.
