Richard Johnson

Chair, RILA – Chairman, President & Chief Executive Officer

Richard “Dick” Johnson was elected President and Chief Executive Officer of Foot Locker, Inc. effective December _­1, 2014.  He was subsequently appointed to the additional position of Chairman of the Board, effective May 18, 2016. 
 
Prior to his current role, Dick served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Foot Locker, Inc. and was responsible for the Company’s domestic and International stores, as well as business development. 
 
From July 2011 to May 2012, Dick was Group President – Retail Stores.  From January 2010 to July 2011, he served as President and CEO of Foot Locker, Lady Foot Locker, Kids Foot Locker, and Footaction.
 
From August 2007 to January 2010, Dick served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Foot Locker Europe.  From 2003 to 2007, he held the role of President and Chief Executive Officer of Footlocker.com/Eastbay and also served as Vice President of Merchandising at Eastbay, after joining the company in 1993.
 
Before joining Eastbay, Dick worked for Graebel Van Lines, General Motors, Electronic Data Systems and Wausau Insurance Companies.
 
Dick holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire. 
 
In addition to being a member of Foot Locker, Inc.’s Board of Directors, Dick currently serves on the Boards of H&R Block, Inc., the Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA) and the Footwear Distributors & Retailers of America (FDRA).
