Susan Kirsch

Vice President, Regulatory Affairs

Susan Kirsch, Vice President, Regulatory Affairs, leads RILA’s Environmental Advocacy and Consumer Products Committees and supports RILA’s advocacy and engagement with regulators at the federal and state levels.

Prior to joining RILA in 2020, Kirsch served as a Government Affairs advisor at Bergeson & Campbell, PC, where she provided regulatory and technical expertise to clients and trade associations in the agriculture and commodity grower communities, as well as major chemical manufacturers.

Earlier in her career, Susan worked for several years with the Association of Clean Water Administrators, where she helped stand up and manage efforts of several environmental regulatory and enforcement committees and workgroups comprised of state surface water regulators.

Kirsch holds a B.A. in Biology from the University of St. Thomas (Minnesota) and a J.D. and Environmental Law Certificate from Pace University.  She is an active member of the American Bar Association’s Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources and currently serves as Co-Chair of its Water Quality & Wetlands Committee.
