The Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA) and The Loss Prevention Foundation (LPF) announced an enticing new benefit for speakers for the 2020 Retail Asset Protection Conference: LPQ or LPC course scholarships.
Retailers and product manufacturers accepted to speak at the 2020 Retail Asset Protection Conference will receive FREE LPF course scholarships.
“Every year RILA strives to bring together the most innovative and thought-provoking speakers, content, and professional development opportunities for asset protection professionals for the Retail Asset Protection Conference,” said Lisa LaBruno, RILA Executive Vice President, Retail Operations and Innovation. “Partnering with the LPF to offer selected speakers course scholarships is a valuable and tangible way for us to incentivize retail and product leaders to participate in our event and share their expertise with our community. We are thrilled to be able to offer this perk from the LPF to our speakers.”
The Loss Prevention Foundation will provide all speakers at the conference with either a LPQualified (LPQ) or LPCertified (LPC) course scholarship – a $795 value! If a speaker already has their LPC certification, the LPF will waive the recertification fee for that individual. Along with the waived fee, the LPF will allow speakers who have their LPC to earn 10 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) in addition to the CEUs earned for attending the conference.
“We really appreciate our continued partnership with RILA,” said Terry Sullivan, LPC, President of the LPF. “The Loss Prevention industry is ever evolving and RILA gives professionals the opportunity to share some of the trends and innovation within our industry. The LPF is dedicated to the evolution and growth of LP/AP professionals through our certification courses which give individuals the chance to elevate their careers through continued education. This opportunity with RILA for the 2020 conference is a good fit for both of our missions.”
The Retail Asset Protection Conference will be held May 3-6, 2020 in Dallas, TX. RILA is accepting applications from speakers until September 10.
