As coastal communities along the mid-Atlantic brace for the worst of Hurricane Florence and the aftermath, American's leading retailers are working around the clock to ensure employees and customers are out of harm's way, and that communities impacted have access to necessary supplies as relief and recovery efforts get underway.
"America's retailers are facing Hurricane Florence head on. The industry is preparing to help those impacted with much needed supplies and stand ready to provide assistance with clean up and rebuilding," said Lisa LaBruno, RILA's Senior Vice President of Retail Operations. "Retailers are often the front line of relief for those in need. Whether it's providing water, fuel, shelter, or life-saving medicine, retailers are doing everything they can to help their associates, customers and the communities they serve rise up after the storm."
RILA is tracking retail members' relief efforts and outlining opportunities for others to get involved here. We will continue to monitor and update this page moving forward.
