- Supplement to proposed SNUR for Long-chain PFAS
Comments to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) on its supplement to its proposed Significant New Use Rule (SNUR) for Long-Chain Perfluoroalkyl Carboxylate (LCPFAC) chemical substances (i.e., certain classes of PFAS). RILA requests EPA adopt a de minimis exemption; allow reliance on supplier/manufacturer certifications for purposes of compliance; and delay implementation to allow for adequate testing and supply chain verification.
