Retailers Congratulate USTR Jamieson Greer

The Retail Industry Leaders Association released the following statement after Jamieson Greer’s confirmation by the Senate:

“The nation’s leading retailers look forward to partnering with Greer to champion trade policies that protect our national interests, advance American competitiveness, and grow our economy. The USMCA, an agreement reached during President Trump’s first term, is a great example of how this can be done. Retailers are ready to work with Greer and the administration on advancing trade policies that protect America’s national security and competitive edge while improving the affordability of household goods for American families who have struggled with high inflation for too long.”
