RILA filed formal written comments to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) on their Notice of Proposed Rulemaking for safety requirements for toys containing button cell or coin cell batteries. RILA's overall position was supportive of the CPSC's priorities but raised several recommendations and concerns for the Commission to address regarding the proposed requirements, implementation timeline, warning formats, and costs.
