- USTR's Proposed Modifications to Section 301...
In May 2024, USTR and the White House released the section 301 China tariffs four-year review report and fact sheet. The Biden-Harris Administration announced that it will not be reducing any of the current 301 tariffs and is increasing the tariffs on a number of key product categories.
USTR also opened an exclusion process and granted exclusion extensions for certain products.
RILA filed comments registering our disappointment regarding the continued tariffs on consumer products. We also express concern about the increase in tariffs on non-EV lithium-ion batteries that could impact the cost and availability of a vast array of consumer products.
