Incident Preparedness and Response

When natural disasters like hurricanes or wildfires strike, retailers are often on the front lines aiding with response and relief efforts. The industry’s wide-reaching supply chain and operations infrastructure make companies well-equipped to quickly direct supplies like food, medicine, and shelter to communities in need.

Retailers also build incredible communities of volunteers – from associates to C-Suite executives– who are ready to lend a helping hand on the ground. The industry works closely with federal agencies and local partners to help address the most pressing issues and lift communities up when they need it most.
